CU Boulder-Lose Hard, Party Harder
Our teams don't win, period. No matter what team it is. Football is the worst, yet they manage to sell out games because the student body likes to party as much as possible. We don't even have a varsity soccer team and our school has 30,000 people... how is that even possible?

Best Weather Around
Everyone thinks it's always snowing in CO but that's not the case. About 350 sunny days a year, usually fairly warm. I once went tanning outside in January. But don't worry- theres always snow in the skiing mountains and the season usually starts in October and ends in June/July.

Average Scholarship
I got a somewhat average scholarship, a few thousand per semester. It was nice because I'm paying out of state.. and I was actually surprised that it was academic. Wasn't too hard to earn it but it can be hard to keep.

Great City
Definitely a great atmosphere- minutes away from mountains to go hiking, Pearl Street and 29th St. mall are great shopping and eating areas and it definitely has a small town feel. Really a lot to do.

No Rules
You can pretty much do anything you want. You only get in trouble with the Boulder PD if you are really obviously intoxicated in public. In the dorms, you only need a key to enter a building- no checking yourself in, any guests in, anything. Parties in the dorms happen all the time. I've seen dogs in lecture halls and people routinely walk around barefoot...no rules.
