Where Is the Elevator to the 17Th Floor Please?
The four city buildings that comprise the "campus" are exotic to my suburban aesthetics, but can easily create traffic jams, and finding places can be difficult due to all the directions one has the option of going in (i.e. up and down as well as left and right). There are numerous activities for a student of almost any taste and creed, but dont expect a Golf Club from this NYC based school.

*Shrugs* It's New York City - No Space, High Price, Sweet Romantic City
My best advice is to live on the Upper East Side in a semi-bad neighborhood (East Harlem) which is getting better all the time. That or go for another borough altogether. Public transportation sucks, but a long commute may be worth the savings in rent. Hunt around the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens (possibly south Bronx too). Craigslist is your friend and your enemy.

Underground Subway - Buildings With Bridges
It is possible to get to the subway and through your whole schoolday without ever stepping outside. The subway stops right in the basement of the school and there is an underground entrance. Enclosed, glass bridges connect all buildings on the 3rd floor
