Rooms are small, but it's alright. I live in Wall, but they're pretty much the same (I stayed in Gates during orientation). Beds are hard though, so bring something to put on top to soften them out.

It is a good place to live as a freshman. There is a Sam's Place inside of the building and it's like in the middle of all the major buildings

its coed, 6 floors, a sam's place downstairs that is open till 11 pm, and the rooms are small, but what dorm isn't? its right next to the library and the Student Union which is always great, plus its just across from The commons which is the newest dining place on campus

Tech does not have an official Male volleyball team

What does it have?

Graduation line is one of the worst things at any university. It's long and you've been waiting 4 years to do it! Well worth the wait I thought.

yeah it can be really competitive and you can enjoy playing especially when you come back from a game.

I haven't followed much of the men's volleyball here but I can tell you the women's team is OK. However, Men's Football and Women's Basketball games are worth the experience!

For intramural it's easy to join, and it is quite fun.

Its really fun in intramurals As long as you join a team with your friends.

They give a chance for students who have never been in sports to play. People play just to have fun, exercise and meet new people. Competiveness depends on the team and how badly they want to win.

They are really fun and competitive. Its a great chance to meet new people. The team is actually pretty good, I've seen them play before and they keep the crowd on their toes. I would definitely encourage you to join them.

The volleyball intramural teams are competitive and are very very fun. It is a great way to meet new people. I also recommend participating in the softball intramural teams, I did so myself and it was so much fun.

Yes they can. They have all girls teams, all guys teams, and co-ed teams.

The only problem with intramural sports is keeping the team together, because the system at state is very sloppy when it comes to enforcing the rules.

I believe they are. Intramural is a very active thing on campus. I know that the school sometimes scout students from the intramural team for the University teams.

I dont know much about intramural teams at Texas State, but I know that the recreational sports society here at Texas state is very impressive. A lot of people are really dedicated and passionate to staying physically fit.

I'm a supervisor for the intamurals sports here at Texas State University, we have one of top intramurals program in the nation, its very competitive and has tons of athletes so if your looking for nice friendly and great competition you've found it.

I think they are pretty competitive, The intramural sports teams at Texas State in general seam to have a lot of fun and they all look good!
