How are the parties, will there be things to do as a freshmen girl?

I have not had a problem as a freshman girl as long as I know at least somebody. The people worth having fun with are generally accepting.

How is the social/party scene? Will I have trouble finding parties to go to on the weekends?

No the parties are pretty good. It is difficult for freshmen males to get in to parties without groups of girls, but by sophomore year they will have plenty to do. Girls usually never have trouble getting in to parties.

As a freshman, yes. It is all about who you know. Girls have an easier time than guys getting into parties.

tryhard

water u doing? you're in, relax

All colleges look at all of your grades. They mostly look at your total GPA which takes everything into account.

Hi there, your high school transcript carries the most weight in your application but we look at every applicant holistically. We want to see competitive grades in all five subject areas (English, Science, Math, Foreign Language, and Social studies), an active co- and extra-circular life, and competitive test scores. The range for successful applicants for SAT scores are as follows: SAT Critical Reading: 570 / 680, SAT Math: 580 / 690, SAT Writing: 580 / 690 and for ACT scores: ACT Composite: 26 / 30, ACT English: 26 / 32, ACT Math: 24 / 29, ACT Writing: 8 / 9. Hope that helps!

It focuses on whether you have improved or maintained your good grades so as a result yes.

Does Northwestern look at your gpa/grades from 10th grade? Currently my gpa is 99.7. Will that help at all?

awesome! keep it up

Yeah, that sounds like a great GPA. And the school receives your four-year transcript, but I think the year they focus on most is 11th grade. They also value improvement.

The order in which they focus, year-wise, is junior, senior, sophomore, freshman.
