Outstanding Facilities!
The facilities at TCU are great and they keep improving them. Older buildings are renovated so often that people jokingly call TCU "Texas Construction University." Almost all of the buildings are new or have been remodeled recently. The Rec Center is huge and really nice, as is the new Union and most of the class buildings and dorms.

Good Campus Housing
The dorms are mostly new or newer, with decent sized rooms and closets. They all have sinks in them, and the halls and bathrooms are kept really clean. They all also have study lounges, TVs, and lots of places to hang out. There are good options for living on campus as a sophomore and upperclassmen as well, with nice on-campus apartments and other housing all really close to classes.

Can't Get Anywhere Without a Car
The only places within walking distance are some college bars, lots of restaurants, and a grocery store. Other than that, you pretty much need to have a car. There is virtually no public transportation. Getting a ride to the airport also can be expensive, as you have to get SuperShuttle or a cab or get a friend to drive you (it's about 30 minutes away).
Around campus, though, there is really good transportation with a shuttle service, golf cart safe rides service, etc.

Good Greek nightlife, or if you have a fake, but that's it
I both have a fake and am in Greek life, so there are always house or club (mixer) parties, and bars nearby usually are good on the right nights if you know the right bar. The good nights are pretty much Thursday through Saturday--the rest don't have much. However, if you don't have a fake and aren't in Greek life... good luck.

Lots of weed, other stuff can be found if you look
A lot of people on campus smoke week, especially the majority of the guys in fraternities. There are also other drugs available, but they aren't very mainstream. You can definitely find them though; I've heard about them plenty.

Pretty goodlooking
The girls are really attractive for the most part, usually the goodlooking girls are in sororities though. The guys are not bad. Most dress alike (southern preppy/fratty). There seems to be a lot of hooking up if you're involved in the party/Greek scene. If you go out and are decent looking, you definitely don't have to go home alone.
