Still Working on It
Northeastern University hasn't become a top-choice for international students... yet. As the reputation soars higher and higher, the popularity amongst prospective foreign students are higher. For the year 2011, the university received a record-breaking 4,000+ applications from outside USA. As the rankings of NEU increases, so does the diversity.

Always on Alert Every Second
When it comes to safety, Northeastern University takes the well-being of its students very seriously. Even one single case of burglary (which involved only a wallet) was taken very seriously. But this is good, since students have no worry when they're going out at night in the campus, as the safety department does its job very well.

A Lot of Choices for High Prices
Off-campus dining, such as Boloco, Qdoba, Au Bon Pain, and Prudential Center's restaurants, are some of the diverse options of off-campus dining in Northeastern. However, off-campus dining costs extremely high compared to that of the on-campus.

Welcome to the North Pole
If you're not used to cold weather, then you're basically going to be in a very long hibernation period from November until mid-April.

Campus Dining & the Berklee Experience
When it comes to the dining experience, the food is average. But it's The Caf experience that you won't find anywhere else. Students performing music with the forks, spoons, knives, tables, plates, glasses, etc. Everybody is united, knowing each other, in The Caf.

If You Can, AVOID!
Too expensive. Once you go out, you might never go back to on-campus housing.

No Greek System
Berklee College of Music doesn't have Greek Life system. I mean, what's the point of having it? Everyone is happy the way it is in Berklee.

There's the T, and There's the Bus
Public transportation is highly accessible in Berklee College of Music. The closest T (subway) station is the Hynes Convention Center, which is passed by the Green Line (B, C, D) and takes riders to the downtown and the city. The bus station is located right in front of the main building (150 Mass. Ave.)

Not Too Great, Not Too Much
While the housing itself is average, the quantity of students the housing can hold is ridiculously low.The number, which is currently standing at around 800 people (or 20% of Berklee's student body), suggests that most students would have to get an off-campus housing sometime in their years of study in Berklee College of Music. In addition, the price tag is jaw-dropping-ly high, even compared to that of BU, BC, and Northeastern. Having on-campus housing, though, is a great advantage because you get additional facilities like laundry, practice rooms, etc.

There's Nothing Like It
Unlike other universities/colleges, Berklee specializes in the field of music. And when an academic institution specializes in one field, so does its student body. Everyone in Berklee is united under one mutual interest: music. It's not unusual to see random people chatting together after they talk about their musical taste, as well as watching people starting a jam session outside the main building (150 Massachusetts Avenue) or the other housing (270 Commonwealth Avenue). When it comes to quality of life, most students are extremely happy to be here. They get what they wish for: to learn music from the very best.
Many artists come to Berklee each year to do clinic session as well as teaching a couple of classes. For example, during the summer John Mayer came to the Five-Week program and jammed with the Rock Workshop group. Andrew Bird and Paula Cole did clinic sessions, which were greeted by the participants of the program very warmly and cheerfully. The life in Berklee College of Music is full of opportunity to maximize the students' potential in studying contemporary music. When it comes to it, there's nothing like Berklee College of Music.

Um... What?
Berklee does have a few athletic teams. Pretty much, though, they're non-existant. Berklee's focus is on music and not athletic.
