A Campus Who Cares
Texas A&M is a place who cares about their students and alerts them in all ways possible. Code Maroon is a system that texts every student for emergencies. You can also call corps (military student) escorts at night who will walk with you where you want to go. A very safe campus in my opinion.

Variety, but at a Price.
There is quite a few options, which Which Wich and Chic-fil-a being favorites. Be warned that a meal plan, while convenient, is only a thrifty idea if you actually use all your meal plans, so its better to get a smaller plan. Meals are generally sort of expensive on campus.

Plenty of People
You can find who you're looking for at A&M. It's a very friendly atmosphere with organizations to meet good lookin' girls if you don't like our country dance halls.
