Pretty Good Food, WAY Overpriced
The plus to going to a huge school is there are are several dining halls to choose from. You always have pizza, burgers, etc. There's also some pretty cool stuff like halfway-decent sushi, indian food, and vegan food. My only complaint is that the meal plan is SUCH ripoff. You may think that the 175 flex (minimum meal plan) is not enough for you, but it is too much. Everyone ends up with a ton of extra unused meals at the end of the semester. The meals are $15 each, so its a huge waste of money. I wasn't able to eat out much and enjoy NYC during my first semester because I was too busy trying to make the most of my expensive meal plan. It would be cheaper to just dine out in NYC so it sucks to get ripped off by your school like that.

Very Fashionable
My single friends (male and female) complain over the lack of hot guys/girls here. Everyone here is really well-dressed, but they're not necessarily 'hot.' Not too many straight guys. Huge asian student population.

Walk!
Very walkable campus, plus theres NYC public transportation (subway, bus, cab) if you need to go farther off. NYU has free bus service that picks up and drops off students around campus so if theres bad weather you dont have to walk to class.
