Academics at Colgate
I've been really pleased with the academics at Colgate. Although I have taken challenging classes, I have found that professors are always willing to help and often provide TA's for larger classes. Group study sessions were held for my psychology class that was 150 people. Of course, it's a two way street with professors. They hold office hours, but if you want the help you have to be organized enough to make the time to go. Typically professors appreciate that you took the time to seek help and enjoy getting to know their students better.

Technology at Colgate
Colgate University has great internet access that works everywhere I've ever needed on campus. Downtown has great high speed internet typically as well. You definitely need a laptop to make your life easier on campus but if you were willing to spend a lot of time in the library or the other computer labs on campus you could do without. Printing is free on campus which is great and there are several computer labs located all around campus. At times the computer carrels are crowded during midterms and other crunch times, but typically you can find an open one.

Internship Opportunities
I haven't yet had an internship but I know that many of the students in the grades above me have. They had great success and didn't seem to have very much difficulty finding positions. I think Colgate has a reputation for providing great people who will work hard. I plan on trying to find an internship for next summer in business and will likely visit career services to start my search.
