There isn't much outside of campus. A local mall, target, Walmart make all your needs accessible. As far as attractions, nothing exists but tons of stuff is happening on campus to offset that.

Great
Every student receives a free IBM laptop upon arrival. It has every program you need installed. I highly recommend the 80 insurance plan that replaces everything. I broke my screen and they gave me a loaner and gave me a new computer on the same day.
