Very Chill
UC Davis is located in a very small city but the college town atmosphere is very present. The diversity of the student body is also quite refreshing with a large number of foreign exchange students to interact with.

Scholarship Applications Are Too Obscure.
The financial aid office offers up a list of scholarships available to apply for but does not give any concrete details on how to apply to them or where to obtain application forms. The financial aid office is more helpful but direct contact with financial aid officers is made difficult by student officers that handle the front desks.
