This is an extremely safe town. The only dangerous thing about it are the gorges, and as long as you're not an idiot, you won't fall into one accidentally (there are large gates)

Full of Douches
I like a lot about Cornell. I don't quite like how many douchebags get in though. It's not even that the students are super competitive or condescendingly intelligent. They just act like they are better than everyone else, think they are more "cool" than everyone else, and in general act like jerks. Now, there are plenty of kids who are nice here, but the douchebags are commonplace enough to always steal the attention away.

Very Generous
It's an Ivy. I received so much financial aid that this place costs me about half as much as UCLA or Berkeley would have (I'm from California so I would've gotten in-state tuition).

Tons of Opportunities
There are literally internships for anything you can possibly be looking for. This is an Ivy League institution, there are plenty of brilliant professors here looking to study just about anything -- from psychology to biology to governmental institutions (they send students to intern in DC, for the UN, for the EU, etc.)
