I'm interested in three major schools: U of Illinois at Urbanna-Champaign, U of Iowa, and Case Western. I'm just wondering how the overall environment at each school is. How are the teachers, what's the campus like etc.

All of these are research institutions. Therefore, the professors do not have as much involvement with their students as a smaller school.

UIUC is biiigg, it'sa good looking campus, there are good and bad teachers like anywhere

How is the Speech and Hearing Science program?

It is great! There are many great professors and the program is designed to cover multiple aspects of the program.

how are the scholarships to Northwestern?

Northwestern only gives need-based aid, not merit-based. But they meet 100% of need and generally this helps you pay far less than the sticker price, although unfortunately they determine your need. Extra scholarships also apply to students from the area.

Thanks!

They are not very good about financial aid. They grossly overestimate the amount of money that a family can pay.
