Binghamton University is the sort of school where the people you meet truly make it special. If you sit in your dorm room all day expecting to make friends without any effort, this is not the place for you. This school is extremely open. My experience has been insightful and lovely. There is a lot of diversity among the students and have already met a professor I consider to me life changing. The reasonable value is definitely worth it as well.

The campus security is rather strict. They will get you on small offenses like slight speeding and rowdy behavior. They are also extremely strict and zero tolerance on underage drinking and any sort of drug use.

BU Transportation
The transportation at Binghamton is fantastic. They have a campus schedule that runs every twenty minutes, although it can sometimes be late. There is free public transportation for the entire city. Everything is also close by and the students are the drivers of the buses.

The off-campus food selection is really good. There's a lot of variety and it's not too expensive for a college student's budget.

I've had an excellent time adjusting to Binghamton. I've made some fantastic friends and my professors have all been very understanding. There are definitely things about Binghamton that bother me though.
