Arizona State is as it says, one of the most diverse college campuses in the United States. You rarely, if ever, run into the same people day to day. Collectively the guys are either the stereotype nerd and the others are gym guys-they love building their muscles. The girls meanwhile are book nerds on one hand, or the party scene type.

Small Class Sizes
Since I am in a design major, most of my classes have been around 18-20 kids, which has its advantages. The professors care more about your well-being and pay close attention to your work giving constructive feedback. For two larger sized classes I had, the teachers were always available and accessible through email or during office hours.

Lots to Do, but Really Spread Out
Tempe is a place of many people and surrounded by a variety of things to do. From hiking, to shopping, to a Suns game the options are endless. However, most of these activities require a car, which then limits activities to on campus, or a short bike ride away.
