Bikes Everywhere!
Davis is definitely not a busy city. It's fairly small and consists of mostly college students. There isn't much to do off campus, but it is very safe and comfy. There are so many bikes! It is the main type of transportation. Lots of small shops. Closest major mall is 20 minutes away in Sacramento. San Francisco is 1 hour 20 minutes away. People are very nice.

College City
The city consists of mainly college students. Housing is for the most part cheap and high availability.

Not Much
Athletics is not something Davis is known for. And therefore, not a great amount of fan support. Intramurals are fun, though.
