Depends on What You Like
If you like all new shinny stuff, there are a couple of those buildings. But Oberlin has a lot of rich old beautiful architecture. They have nice big roomy dorms, which all have kitchens and laundry and many of the dorms have cafeterias in them. Some of the athletic facilities could be updated. They have tons of sport fields, lots of open space.

There is no strictness at all. I hardly hear of policies and rules. We are too busy enjoying ourselves to get into trouble

I Feel So Safe
I haven't seen or heard of any crimes! I feel completely comfortable walking to my dorm no matter what time of the night, which is completely different from when I lived at home.

I LOVE IT
We have great food, a LOT of vegan/vegetarian options. but even better we have a cafeteria that serves "soul food" we have delies all over the place. TONS of dress local food. I love my big room and my roommate! Everyone is accepting and generally nice. there are tons of talented people. the atmosphere is wonderful/welcoming
