Academics
Academics at Tufts depend on your major and course of study. There are some programs that are really demanding and competitive and others that are a bit less glamorous. Econ, IR, Engineering and Pre-med are perhaps the largest programs and are, in my opinion, the best that Tufts has to offer. The workload is manageable if you register for the right classes. Registration as a freshman and sophomore is a difficult process.

Go 'Bo's!
As a Division III school, most athletic activity goes unrecognized and often marginalized. Men's Lacrosse, women's tennis, sailing and frisbee are notable, well respected teams that continuously perform well in our conference, the NESCAC. Quidditch is pretty huge at Tufts and sometimes draws larger crowds than football games.

Bundle up!
Weather is miserable for about 75% of a student's time. The summer months are enjoyable in Boston though.
