Really Attractive
Some of the girls are a little too Jappy (Jewish American Princess), but other than that Tulane girls are pretty hot. Typical dress around campus might be a white v-neck with sorority pin, tote bag, nike shorts, and colorful rain boots. Guys can be fratstars, with flip-flops or boat shoes.

Frat Stars
Greek life has a strong, but not overbearing presence on campus. This is no SEC school, and "GDIs" and the like can sill have active social lives without pledging, but the Greek community is strong and beneficial to the school. I didn't pledge - many of my friends did - and I never felt any unwanted pressure.

Parking Is Awful
Parking at Tulane is an unmitigated disaster. McAllister Place, the new pedestrian-only avenue, is nice, but it decimated an already rough parking scene. TUPD, the campus police, act like stormtroopers in the parking garage: if you are within six inches of the line, you will get a ticket on dubious grounds.
