Not Bad
The dining halls are good, and useful for people who snack or eat a lot of little meals, because you can get the unlimited dining hall access plan. Brennan's is awesome, has great food, cool atmosphere and music, and takes points. All the food is basically the same, if you're getting food on campus, chances are it's all the same stuff. Some people say the food at the dining hall is bad but this is my second year eating it and I still don't mind it.

Pretty Good Looking Hippies
In all honesty, UVM has a pretty predictable type of people: hippies. This is absolutely not meant in a negative way. Everyone here loves the environment, being outdoors, and just generally being kind and open to everyone. There is a large LGBQT population here, but there are plenty of straight people as well. Most people are variants of hippie, with a little more modern flare, more skater, or sometimes even more hippie. We've got a pretty good looking crowd of students up here too, I must admit. All these hippies are pretty easy on the eyes and have the personalities to match.

Buses Are Awesome
With your student ID, you get free public transportation, CCTA, which brings you downtown, back up, into South Burlington, to the airport, to walmart, almost anywhere, for free! Parking is very inconvenient, I don't see a reason to even have a car here when the bus is so convenient and readily available.
