Michigan State University Is Beautiful
Michigan State University's campus is beautiful. There are plenty of arts and lots of outdoor recreation options. It's right next door to Lansing, so there is plenty of shopping. One cool event held in East Lansing is the Great Lakes Folk Festival. The food and music are fantastic! Most of the local folks are pretty nice to students because students spend money in the area.

Michigan State University Is Safe
Though no place is perfect, MSU takes the safety and health of it's students very seriously. Both campus police and East Lansing police do a good job of creating a safe environment for students.

Residential Programs
Even though Michigan State University is huge - campus and student body - having Residential Academic Programs is really nice.
