Curriculum Will Prepare You Well for Any Future Goals
After graduating, I've come to find that UCF's microbiology department prepared me well for all of my future goals. As a pre-medical student, the curriculum kept me on course to not only meet but exceed medical school requirements. I also liked that they had a wide array of electives which allowed me to customize my coursework towards medical science or research. The university has several research opportunities for those interested and a department designated to advise students on how to enter medical school. There's also dozens of special interest organizations like AMSA, MAPS, a couple of pre-medical student fraternities to join. Having trouble in classes or need extra help to earn your A? No problem! UCF offers Supplemental Intstruction sessions, free tutors and TAs that are there to help you master your course materials.

Parking Was Limited
I personally didn't have a car while attending, however students often complained about the lack of parking. UCF is the 2nd highest populated university in the country so that means there's far more students than parking. They have continually built parking decks to alleviate parking issues however. They also have shuttle bus to take students from surrounding housing to campus and back each day. Visitor parking was also an issue.
