There is always something going on at night at UVA. Whether you feel included at parties is another story, but you can always find stuff to do. Rugby road with all the sororities/frats is always hopping from Thursday to Sunday. There is also tons of taxis/cabs to use for safety and their are tons of classy bars to go to if you are over 21

Don't Bother Unless Your Parents Dont Make Any Money

Financial Aid in general is a pain in the butt and they screw up the paperwork often. UVA doesn't offer any academic scholarships, only need based, so unless your parents do not have any money or are unemployed, good luck getting any financial aid. I only have my moms salary and they still didn't give me anything. Other people got tons if their family income is less than $25,000. I would recommend applying to tons of private/national scholarships instead
