I just got admitted to Duke and think I will attend. I recieved the Trinity need based grant - I'm just worried about the 'Trinity' part because I applied to the Pratt school of engineering. Does anyone know whether Trinity is just used as the name of the grant or if My application waa processed in the college of Arts and Sciences? Thank You!

I would email or call the office of fin aid to be sure. My guess it does not matter but I did get a Pratt grant for an engineering major.

Thanks cuz

You can transfer pretty early on if you'd like...

Did anyone else receive their estimated financial aid award?

Yes, and it varies from person to person.

did you get it on wolverine access? how long ago did you apply for financial aid?

Got it today. Submitted my FAFSA late January and completed my CSS Profile in December

Ugh, i was hoping for more aid than they're offering :( Don't know if I'll be able to attend now.

With Loans and everything I've still got 150000 to pay - I know what you mean goblue17

Uzoayo, you mean 15000, right?!?

hahahahahaha ya of course

I was admitted to Purdue in January but have not yet recieved any word on my financial aid award. Anyone know when the school contacts students about that?

I believe they send your financial aid package to you by April 1.

Thank you!!!

I want to become an aerospace engineer and USC has always been my first choice but so many people have now told me that Purdue's program is significantly better. Thoughts?

I think USC is an awesome place to be at this time given the fact that EXPO park is right across the street and they have both recently acquired spaceship Endeavor and are planning on remodeling their Aerospace museum to accommodate it.

Thanks bro

I want to be an aerospace engineer too. Have you heard back from USC yet?

Nope - only for financial aid documents and they told me I wasn't a scholarship finalist. I guess we'll have to wait till April 1st

Purdue is the most famous for aerospace, graduating many astronauts which has earned them a great reputation.

Thank you

hahaha who's telling you that? Do your own research. I've had several friends go into the field and they always looked at USC and Michigan, never heard Purdue before

Well I met 4 individuals who work at NASA, 2 went to Purdue and one to Michigan. And If you look at US News World Rankings Purdue's Aerospace program is superior to USC's. But uh thanks for your comment - appreciate your insight.
