Off-Campus Housing
After freshman year many students choose to live "off-campus". Surrounding the dorms are many places for rent. Also, Drexel has leases the first couple of floors of University Crossings. This is nice because your you can pay for housing through with your student loans and grants. The process of independent living is a gradual process.

Guys and Girls
A lot of the younger girls are cliche airheads, who dress alike and travel in packs. The guys are the same. As people mature though, everyone seems to be cool. I guess it's all about growing up. There is a crowd for everyone though. If you join clubs and activities that fit your interests, you'll definitely get friends for life. There are really good people at the school.

Drexel is very unique when it comes to internships. We have a co-op program where students take 6 months or more to actually work in the field you are studying. Your boss then writes an evaluation of how you work and you write a self-assessment. Not all co-ops are paid though. They will give you the tools you need to compete for a job but its up to you to get it.
