My Major

Being a Biochemistry major is something that is extremely rare and there aren't too many majoring in such a specific major. It is definitely a major that has a huge workload, with math and science courses. Even though, the workload may be a little too much at times the major itself is interesting and there are unique areas about the major, such as the fact that there are classes, for example, Biology 189, where students o to really analyze the body and focuses more on the forensic science area of biochemistry. The faculty offers as much information and gives students every possible help in hand and offer a high technological equipment,in order, to get as much experience as to what one is going to be doing in the work field. Not only is there various sources, but there are opportunities offered, where students can participate in internships and get hands on experience through the teachers and leaves students with many more doors that they can go through. Ultimately, Biochemistry is an area that grabs ones attention.
