Blowing Off Steam on the Weekend

In the town of Stillwater, Oklahoma there is only one club known as tumbleweed, and it isn't exactly the best club. If your 21 or up there are tons of bars you can go to, but nothing really for those of us under the legal age. As far as parties go, there are always parties. IF you know people, those first couple of weekends may be awkward for some people because they have no idea where parties are. After you find a sophomore friend or consider joining greek life there are parties every weekend. Sad fact that everyone has to learn in college is, the parties on T.V. are not average. But in my personal experience o have to give the OSU party life a B+.

Fratboys and Soristitutes

If you have ever seen the show "greek" on ABC Family, fraternities and sororities are not really like that here. Being greek is nice and it can be fun, but life goes on without it. Being in a fraternity I am somewhat biased to greek life. Honestly, the parties are better, the friendships last longer. If you are looking for a typical college party, looking into greek life may be a better choice

Scholars

I never applied for any scholarship, but from what I hear its not that hard

Academia

Oklahoma state offers a great variety of classes, for a great variety of majors. All professors i have encountered so far are more than happy to help you with any subject regarding school. And if you don't want to go directly to the professor most classes have some sort of a lab that offers help or extra credit points.
