Some Good Some Bad

For me its just like high school, I have a few amazing professors and a few really horrible professors. I love my business class, the teacher is funny and interesting and cares about her students. I also love my theater class, my teach is brilliant and entertaining, and I have learned more from his class than I did in 4 years of high school theater. On the other hand I have some professors who don't challenge me at all and whose classes are a joke, and some where the teacher is so removed from the class that they can't see how bored the students are. I here the classes are better in the honors program.

Bruff

I don't eat beef or pork which makes things kind of difficult, because most of the good looking pre-prepared meals contain one of the two. the food doesn't always seem very fresh, and I'm certain that most of it isn't organic. That being said, I don't go hungry. There are salad options and often a few vegetarian meal options. The dining hall is ugly and crowded, there are two tvs which play music videos nonstop and blast music making it hard to focus on the people your eating with. There is food at the lbc (baja fresh, Mediterranean togo, yummy bagels, panda express, sushi, quiznos, smoothies and frozen yogurt). You quickly run out of money to spend at lbc :)

New Orleans Transportation

the streetcar is right outside of Tulane which is nice, but it isn't fast and the later it gets into the night the slower the streetcar runs. You might wind up waiting for an hour. It is 1.25 each way which adds up. It takes you to the french quarter and to magazine street where there is shopping. Tulane provides a shuttle on saturdays which takes you to and from the malls for free.

Sports....

Our football team is not good and most people don't bother going to the games.

The Architecture Program

if you want to be an architect you can come here and get your degree in 5 years instead of 6! you'll save a ton of money.

Not Too Bad

People smoke pot, but I haven't heard about anyone seriously abusing drugs. Although if your not careful you could be rufied (it happens a lot here).
