UMD Health and Safety: Average-Good
I never felt unsafe on campus because there are always Campus Security during the day as well as night. After a certain hour at night, there are campus police and security at every entrance of the school to check the IDs of people entering the school.

Very Diverse
I was a transfer student and on my first day at UMD, I was surprised by how diverse the school was. The university that I was attending before my transfer was mostly white. At UMD, there are many diverse ethnic groups and many clubs and activities that educate other ethnicities about other cultures

4 Seasons
We get all four weather outcomes depending on the seasons. We get average amounts of rain and snow so it doesn't really affect many students just as longs as you check the weather before going to class and always having an umbrella handy just in case
