Biology Is Rough Here
NYU has great professors with great backgrounds and knowledge, but the curriculum is tough. It's a lot of work to take, especially if you're a freshman taking both biology and chemistry right away. But the heavy workload really helps you learn a lot in a short amount of time. Also, the instructors are usually looking for interns. And it's easy to find a job as a teaching assistant in the later years. Summer classes might be recommended, as it is hard to focus on all four classes and the city life sometimes.

A City Is Always Busy
NYU's campus is pretty nice when it comes to clubs and activities. Going to the fall club fest shows you that there are 100, maybe even 200 different clubs at this university. New York is a diverse city, so there are clubs on religion, frats, hobbies, sports, almost anything you could ever want! The Kimmel Center is a great place to hang out and most of the club activities occur there. There is also a nice gym a few blocks away from the main class building area. The Bobst library is also fantastic for studying, in almost any way imaginable. (Solitary studying, quiet studying, semi-loud studying, group studying, etc.) I also consider it the hyperbolic time chamber because I somehow get work done ten times faster in there. All in all, NYU's facilities are A+.

Dining Halls Are Better Than I Thought
Although cafeteria food in general has its limits, NYU is pretty good at maintaining variety. The meal plan is a bit pricey, but it all depends on which dining hall you go to and at what time/day. Some dining halls make you get a set portion for your meal plan, but other dining halls are buffet style. All dining halls allow take-out because they know we are busy college students. All dining halls have vegetarian options, too. Many different cuisines can be found in all of them, such as Asian, Spanish, Italian, and American.
