Dorms and Resident Life Community
The dorms at TCU are very nice and spacious. Each room has a sink, twin beds, dresser, and desk. The rooms are fairly spacious for a dorm room. The closets are not that big, so don't bring all your clothes! One thing I love about the dorms at TCU is the community. In my dorm, I know almost everyone on my floor. We have community renewal programs and there are always events hosted by the RAs to build a sense of community. I feel like I belong and have great friends in my hall!

Fairly Warm Weather
The weather in Texas is SUPER hot in the first couple months of school. You sweat just going from class to class! But my October it cools off and the temperature is usually in the 60's which is really nice! It hardly ever snows here so classes arn't cancelled very often. In the winter, it's a little chilly but it's not bad!

Frog Camp and Frogs First
Frogs camps are offered the summer right before your freshman year of college starts. You are placed in random small groups with 2 leaders and a faculty member. You become really close to small group and leaders. It gives you some good friends right before school starts! All freshman are required to attend Frogs First the weekend before your Freshman year of classes start. You are also placed in a small group with people from your dorm. You do lots of activities together and really get to know the people in your dorm!
