the atmosphere around the school is pretty much residential with a strip mall as well as resturants down the street

Alverno is a small private college with a lot of non-traditional students. If drinking or smoking occurs it is somewhere far away from campus

It's Ok
I have made it my personal business to complete my FAFSA before the deadline so that I may qualify for all that is available to me. A lot od documents are online so I suggest keeping up with deadlines and talking with a financial aid advisor if you ever have questions
