Minimal Theft + Caring Officers
First off - there is not a lot of theft at Wellesley. Not everyone leaves their doors unlocked, but many do and people do leave their hygeine products in the bathroom with no problem.
Secondly, I worked at Campus Police and I got to know the officers really well - they seriously care about the students and are there to protect us first and foremost. Instead of prowling around looking for underage drinking (though they do take this seriously) they are more often prowling around to make sure there is no one harassing or bothering any of the students.

Progress
There has been a lot of changes over my four years at Wellesley. I did like that there was an unlimited plan in the sense that you can come in and eat whenever the dining hall is open as many times as you would like. However, this made it so financially everyone had to be on the meal plan where there is no card swipe for the dining halls, and you can't opt off the meal plan nor can you limit your number of meals per week. Over the years the allergy issues became better and it seemed like there was a genuine effort to keep improving.

On Campus, Awesome, Off Campus, Well Ouch
On campus, well we're a super small school so we don't really need transportation. In fact, I drove the van that provides transportation on school and I found that there are a lot of snobby people at school who think it is the school's fault that they have to walk 7 min in the cold on a well-lit campus where max it takes 10 minutes to get somwhere.
Off campus, the bus situation was kinda crazy at times. The token prices increased and the buses seemed to fill quickly and they became less frequent over time. However, I feel like these were necessary changes because of the financial situation of the school and I think that the people who complained the most were probably students who didn't understand why financial aid was a high priority for the school instead of transportation to the frats in boston.

Play Here if You're Passionate About Your Sport
Nothing amazing, but nothing horrible. Really if you go to Wellesley you shouldn't be someone who wants to watch epic games each week. Wellesley athletics is all about the people who want to play sports and if you go to a game it's all about cheering on your friends!

Crazy
The campus is old and there are a lot of sketchy stone steps so when it's icy, snowy, etc it can be hard. HOWEVER, I would like to say that the maintenance workers work AROUND THE CLOCK at school to remove snow and to pick ice, etc and while they don't always keep up with the weather, I can only imagine that our crew works harder than any other school. Also, for all the students who complained about walking to class, nothing is more than 12 minutes away in the winter time - it's not like we live in a city and have to walk blocks and blocks.

The Obvious and Not So Obvious
Wellesley, being a women's college, has so many great advantages that come not only from not competing with male counterparts in subjects such as math, science, economics, etc but also from the fact that it was (and still is in some ways) revolutionary and liberal for women to be part of education and that has translated to Wellesley being a place that fights for humanity and for those who are often swept under the rug. For that reason there is a lot of dialogue on campus about social justice, women's reproductive rights (not pro-abortion, i'm talking people who want to sit and really discuss how legislation, society, etc affect the choices given to women and also how hard-line feminism had also given a "bad name"; to pro-choicers), LGBTQ issues, etc. It is a progressive place!
