Feels So Right!
The professors that you ares surrounded are completely immeresed and interested in what you are studying for. The professors are there to help you succeed and most importantly, they want you to succeed. As long as you make yourself known to the professor and get to know them, they become almost your best friend.

Range from Great to Okay
It really depends on where you live. There are many options for housing. The nicer dorms are Jewett and Davison as they were just recently renovated. The older dorms like Main Building have not seen major renovation since the creation of the school. But overall, the quality of the dorms are above that of most universities and colleges. There are nice apartments and houses available when one becomes a junior/senior.

Depends on What You Do
From my experience, I frequently find myself wishing, "Man, I wish I had my car to drive to go get something." However, I am from Arkansas so I am used to things being far away, thus, driving a lot. It really depends. Most of the time, you will have a friend that has a car, and usually they will help you out if you want to go places. There is a bus system that Vassar just recently changed (2011) to make it more accessible and goes to more places. I wish I had a car for my own convenience but that is my own opinion. There are also shuttles to the train station that will give you access to an hour and a half train ride to NYC.
