Campus Safety

Du isn't too strict. Yes campus safety will take you to detox if you puke in the lobby, a public bathroom, or are found passed out on the side of the road, but if you're just happily intoxicated they wont care unless you try to piss them off. In general, don't be a f******* idiot about it and you'll be fine. BTW if you need to puke at your dorm, don't go in the bathroom if RA's have access to it. Be smart, get one of your garbage cans, stay in your room, and puke in there. It will save everyone involved a tone of work and stress, plus you wont need to explain it to your parents. As for parties being broken up, it does happen if neighbors get pissed off, but nobody gets in trouble, they just leave and usually go to the bars. As for drugs, if you are dumb enough to smoke in your room, you could get caught, otherwise you're fine. I would suggest an air tight jar and a locked safe that the university cant access because then even if they do smell it, they cant get to it so you cant get in trouble.

Safety

There is not very much crime here, yes a girl will occasionally get their but pinched by some random guy who seems to love doing that, but otherwise you're fine. I can honestly say i feel completely safe at all times when I'm on or near campus.

Housing

Can't complain about housing. The dorms are actually pretty nice. Towers is where most athletes live and each suit has a kitchen and bathroom you share with 3 other people, the walk everywhere is a bitch. Halls (freshmen only) has a tone of people, community bathrooms, some coed floors, and a dinning hall, but the walk to the science buildings is a bitch. Nagel and Nelson are both incredibly nice with a bathroom and kitchen to share with 3 other people and both have great locations. Jmac (freshmen only) has all code floors, community bathrooms and the best location on campus, unless you're going to the light rail or a sports game.
