Its Alright
There is a computer lab open 24/7 but sometimes all of them will be taken. You should bring a computer to campus its just much more convenient. Wireless access is anywhere on campus, and even some places dirtily off campus. Theres good connection and speed. Printing kind of sucks because its so expensive

L.A. Live Is a 5 Minute Drive
Theres a lot of fast food around campus that's cheap for students and pretty tasty. Chanos is amazing. But if you don't mind driving or taking the bus there are amazing restaurants. I mean its L.A.

Ehhhh
Greek life reminds me of high school. If you like Greek Life theres' plenty of it ( if you get into a "good" one). Greeks can have a bad rep by non-Greeks. I have a lot of greek friends and love all of them, but I do know some Greeks who I think are stuck-up, rich snobs who think they are better than anyone. If you're a girl too, you can participate in most party things so its not necessary to be Greek to be social. and there's a big non greek scene

Depends on Your $$
If you want a cheap place, there are great options with University Housing, but they aren't that high quality. Troy apartments have a great location and are priced relatively well, but the actual apartments are just okay. Now, if you have $$ to spend on housing, Gateway, West 27th, Icon, and Tuscany offer awesome apartments, but for a cost. There are ways to lower costs by getting apartments with more people or signing leases earlier, but its generally expensive. You get a lot of perks with the cost, though so in a way it is worth it. Also, if your Greek, living in the sorority or frat houses is always a decent option. Usually, you get 2 meals a day at the houses and the rent is wayyy cheaper than apartments. but you DO have dues that come with being in the sorority/frat so in a way it balances out.

Worth the High Price Tag
USC is expensive, but it provides so many opportunities, academically, socially, professionally, athletically, etc., that it goes above and beyond in giving its students what they pay for (Also, it is not uncommon for students to receive scholarship or financial aid). There is nothing like Game Day at USC, literally the campus is covered in red and gold and tailgates extend from the Row all the way to the Colosseum. The Career Center will work for you and give you free advising on how to get internships, jobs, etc. The weather is impeccable and there is always something fun going on.

Hidden Spots/Awesome Events
The Philosophy Library, Ground Zero, Popovich Cafe, Tutor Hall Cafe, and the Campus Center study rooms are some relatively hidden places well worth going to.
Events to attend: Springfest (an all day music festival with awesome activities, food trucks, and mind-blowing headliners, this year was Macklemore, Anberlin and Wolfgang Gartner); any Company Profile Events (you can find these on the Connect SC website; frat parties (even if you don't like to, just go to ONE register, its a unique experience); GAME DAY-this is essential especially considering next year will be USC's best year yet as Matt Barkley will most likely lead us to the Rose Bowl and/or the National Championship; USC Film School free screenings; Vision and Voices Events
