No Such Thing as Gender Division.
At Seton Hall University, I was so pleased to discover the vast majority of guy/girl interactions, academic and social support, and all-around great quality friendships. Unlike high school, there are very few examples of cliquey-ness among the students on campus; guys know girls and girls know guys, and "groups" interact well with each other. There is often a lot of social opportunities on and off campus and social events between not only sports teams and sports teams, but greek organizations with sports teams, vice versa, and so on. Everyone is fairly well-dressed and presentable. Many are quite fashionable and creative. In general, Seton Hall has a great, positive mix of gender interactions and social opportunities; attractive and all-around friendly students.

Go Greek!
Upon starting my college life at Seton Hall University in Fall of 2009, I never once thought I would join a Greek organization. Not that I only ever negative ideas about them, I just didn't know much of anything about them. Going into Fall 2010, I decided it may give me great opportunities for my present and future and help build my leadership and professional skills. I joined and I absolutely love it. Not only do I have endless experiences and opportunities ahead of me, I also discovered a great social family and bond among sisters. I found that many of the organizations know and interact quite often with each other, within and outside of social events. Greek Organizations work together for fundraising and beneficial events such as Blood Drives, Relay For Life, and other amazing opportunities to help volunteer and benefit our communities. In general, the Greeks at Seton Hall are social, intelligent, mature and quite friendly and mostly all interact with one another. I have heard VERY few negative remarks from non-Greek students inside and outside of Seton Hall.

SHU-Fly and Case Van
Considering the village/downtown area of South Orange is quite close to campus, I was pleasantly surprised and quite pleased to discover the helpful options the university offers students on campus. The "Shu-fly" is Seton Hall's personal bus service that makes stops all around town, and surrounding areas; to malls and shopping centers in neighboring towns. The Case Van is a safety measure, taken by Seton Hall to ensure student safety at late hours off campus. Great options, and wonderful service.
