Mediocre All Around
There are several computer labs, some only accessible to certain students in certain majors or with certain privileges. One can usually print in those locations, with a nominal payment that charges according to file size. Most computers are quite recent, using Windows XP, Vista, and less commonly, Windows 7. There are some computers that are in need of updating in terms of the operating system, specifications such as the RAM, but overall the standards are acceptable. During peak hours, it can be challenging to find a free computer in common places open to all students and faculty members such as the library.
The network speed is excellent and is usually quite reliable. There is wireless in every building on the campus and two main networks that require login information. The need for a personal computer is quite high as it is more convenient and as mentioned above, there is often a shortage of computers. A personal printer is less needed, as there are printers in residential halls as well as offices, computer labs, and the library.

Inaccessible
Cheaper than on-campus housing, with several options in close proximity to the campus. There is a bus system to help students travel back and forth between campus. Unfortunately, there are few buses and the waiting time can be up to 40 minutes. The closer the housing choice is to campus, the higher the demand and the higher the price. Parking is mostly good. Safety is limited to students' own habits such as locking the entrance door. It is typically less safe to live off-campus than on-campus.

Active
Very active. Makes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights come alive on campus. Adds excitement. Most Greek students are viewed as less academically successful, very social, and too caught up with Greek life. Each fraternity and sorority have their own Greek house on campus.

Lack of Variety
LSU has a number of off-campus dining options near the campus itself, some within walking distance. However there is a lack of variety and net number of options as they are usually full of students especially at peak hours. Wanting anything more than fast food, wings, sushi, or frozen yogurt would one to drive further away from campus.

Decent
There are buses which do not come frequently enough (lack in total number of buses) but make stops at convenient locations. After 5pm there is a bus service that can pick students up and drop them off anywhere on campus if one calls them. It usually takes a while for them to come and there are often many stops, through it is a "free" service. Long distance transportation severly lacks

Beauty of Campus
The LSU campus is beautiful. There are live oak trees, squirrels, flowers, and many more natural features that make the campus leisurable to walk through.
