Oh Williamsburg...
Williamsburg is most famous for its tourist attractions in Colonial Williamsburg. From Ancient campus all the way down DoG Street, you can walk into 1776. CW is beautiful and quaint and does provide a decent amount of entertainment, but it's definitely not the busy, bustling urban center that other cities are. There's also plenty of other touristy type entertainment, like plenty of restaurants, and the Premium Outlets (which are great!) So if you're looking for a place that's slow and summer-y with lots of old people, lots of new people, and blacksmiths buying sandwiches at Wawa (the only place open after 10...), then maybe Williamsburg is right for you!

Plenty of Options
Being a tourist town, there are plenty off campus dining options in Williamsburg. Down DoG street you'll have your higher end dining, like the Trellis, the Cheese Shop, Aromas, the Blue Talon, etc. Down Richmond Road there are plenty of chain restaurants as well as some more local type joints that are good. However, most of these will come at a price.
