Campus Life Fee
It is nice to have a campus life fee because it gives organizations money for events, but the fee is roughly $150 per quarter, and I do not know many students that if they were to tally up their events or free food would come anywhere near $100. This fee should be less or should have more open events hosted.

Wind Tunnel
UC is a very windy campus. Having engineer friends, they joke about how UC could possibly be used for wind tunnel experiments to study air flow. Cincinnati can get pretty cold in the winter, but UC deducts ten degrees than the regular wind chill and miserably stings your face. But luckily you can use building cut through if you learn them to stay out of the cold.

Catholic High Schools
There is no spot on the FASFA for a parent to put that they have students in private, catholic high school. It assumes that the children are attending public schools. It says that you can email the school if you want and let them know of your situation, but that is too much of a hassle and UC is public so they may not care. Private tuition may be seen as a privilege, but when compared to the option of the Cincinnati public school system, there is no other choice but to attend private. I wish the FASFA or UC had a place for this on the financial aid application because I have two sisters in high school and their tuition is almost as much as mine.

Chemical Engineering
We have a harder work load than most majors, but UC prepares us well for it. I chose this school because of its amazing co-op program within my field. Our curriculum coincides with our job routines and strengthens our skills.

Freshman Fun
My advice is to live on campus. It has been a lot of fun meeting new people and always having something to do on the weekends besides stay home alone in my dorm. UC has made me feel accepted and cares about my education.
