Campus Housing at Washington University in St. Louis

Love Living on Campus

I LOVE living on campus. This year (freshman year) I'm living in Danforth which is a modern dorm. The suite styles are great- 4 people to a bathroom, good size room and closet, and enough storage space. I love the co-ed floors too; it makes it easy to make friends. The dining hall is close to almost all dorms and has great food. It's a bit expensive, but worth it to live on campus.

Nightlife at Washington University in St. Louis

A-

Frat Parties and Off Campus

If you want to stay on campus, there is a good party scene at the Frats but most people drink prior to going out- frats don't offer that much alcohol. During the winter, people tend to go to clubs/ bars to avoid walking to the frats in the cold weather.

Weather at Washington University in St. Louis

B

Windy in Winter

During the winter, it can get really windy and that is the worst while walking between classes or to/from the dorms. Underclassmen usually live about 10-15 minutes away from classes and so that walk can be brutal in the wind. However, in the fall and spring, it is GORGEOUS and it is hard to make people stay inside.
