Repetitive Variety
I am a vegan (no meat, milk, fish, eggs or milk) and I am finding plenty of food options here. There are healthy options and unhealthy options. There is a wide variety of food to choose from, but it's pretty much the same stuff week after week. I am very impressed with it, and it is wonderful for a dining court, but I still miss home-cooked meals.

Safe
I always feel safe when walking on the Purdue University campus. There is an escort service to walk you back to your dorm from anywhere on campus. There are also emergency boxes that call police to your location. Even when I am just with girl friends, I am not worried about my safety when walking around campus.

Underage Nightlife
I do not drink, and neither do most of my friends. The Union building shows free movies most Friday nights to Purdue students who have their IDs. There are also occasional open mic nights for singers and guitar players. Students can go see local improv groups. The residence halls all have free movie rentals (my hall has over 300 to choose from) and pool, table tennis and foosball.

Free Busing
CityBus runs busses through campus and throughout the greater Lafayette/West Lafayette area for free for Purdue University students. This can get you to class, the mall, Walmart and many other places.

I Love It
I love Purdue. It is gorgeous. The people in the state of Indiana are very nice. It is easy to get involved and make friends. Classes are also challenging.
