Pretty Safe
It's a small town and a small campus with not much to fear. The main concern is the fact that some of the street lanterns that light up walkways will randomly go out (usually when you're walking by) leaving you in pitch black conditions. This is most dreadful when you are trying to get home at night.

What is food?
Over the course of my time here, it gets progressively harder to convince myself to eat. Because I have classes during what would be considered "meal times" it seems to be impossible to ever get there when they serve food. They say hours are from 7am to 8pm or so, but there are intervals where they are not actually serving anything (thus by swiping in you waste $10.35). There is always salad and usually pizza, but one can only eat this so many times before wondering why they have a meal plan. The worst thing is the breakfast for dinner that happens at least once a week. Also, the lack of sanitation of silverware and cups is appalling. No wonder everyone's always sick.

Diverse if you've never been around a minority in your life!
People who say this school is diverse probably came from places where there was only ever 1 minority student (if that). Although everyone is relatively accepting of those from different backgrounds, the majority of students are upper class and white. This is probably because most students come from Northern Virginia (or Nova?) where this demographic is prevalent. Don't be discouraged to come here if you are a minority though. There are many organizations for every minority. However, do not let the other comments trick you. This school is mainly white.

About that...
If you're looking to party don't come here. The majority of parties are centered around standing in a room with a bunch of people who've had a little too much to drink and have to let us all know it. If you like to spend weekends chilling out with friends, you'll be in good company here.

This campus is strict?
Please. Half of the student body should have been kicked out for what happens here on Saturday nights. There's a ton of people under 21 who drink and it is encouraged (despite that beginning of the year quiz they made freshman take) by peers. There are older people buying it for them. I honestly wish they would crack down more so that I could sleep on weekends without a drunk person cursing outside my dorm.
