I don't drive or have a car, but there are buses that go all around campus and are super convenient. There is even an app that you can get for your phone that tracks the bus so you know what bus is coming and when. Parking can be an absolute nightmare if you drive to campus, especially in the first few weeks of class. If you drive, plan on getting to campus early to ensure a spot. There is an app for parking garages that tells you when they're full and how full they are.

It's a hit or a miss with dorms. Some are very nice, but some are absolutely horrible. My roommate said her dorm the other year had a severe case of mold. Degraff is the best and Sally is probably the worst.

Sometimes classes are far away from where you are, so if it rains then you're out of luck. Classes can be canceled if a bad enough hurricane rolls in. It has to be a pretty bad storm, though. It never snows here, so you don't have to worry about that.
