Okay
There are few on campus dining centers. The food can get reasonably repetitive and the workers can get really unmotivated causing the food choices to be very slim certain nights. It's not horrible but it's not good either.

I Don't Know
I don't know too much about the athletics at Vassar because they aren't a huge part of campus life. Our facilities are pretty nice and when teams get far we generally become more aware and gain a high amount of spirit. The school recently cut the crew team which was a really unfortunate decision and makes me somewhat negative toward athletics here in general.

Shuttles Are Hidden Treasures
Vassar has a free shuttle that runs to places all over Poughkeepsie, which is nice. Few students use this though although it is a great resource. There are supposedly buses that run through Poughkeepsie but I have never heard of anyone taking them. In general walking is a fine mode of transportation because all of the necessities are reasonably close.

Really Nice
The library is beautiful as well as many of the buildings that classes are in. The entire campus is also breath-taking. It's a common occurrence to be walking around and suddenly being taken aback by the general aesthetic. The gym is really nice and reasonably new and it also is completely free.

You can pretty much get away with anything here, which provides a nice relaxing atmosphere for students. Students can get written up by security many times before they have any kind of consequences whatsoever. If you are drinking at some of the senior housing complexes there is zero chance of any kinds of consequences.

Drinking and Weed
Alcohol and weed are really big here. Some other drugs are used but people generally aren't out of control. I'm not really sure if I'm grading how good the drug scene is or how good the drug scene isn't though. I think that it's perfect personally.

I Love Vassar.
I've never been happier anywhere. The people are so friendly and it's, for the most part, an extremely accepting environment. People that aren't happy here are people who:
a) get easily offended (there are a lot of these people at Vassar. They're so liberal that they take offense to everything and make everyone else unhappy.
b) you are anti-social
c) you're a homophobe, racist, or radical Christian.
