Parties here are fun. ISU is right...
Parties here are fun. ISU is right down the road, so we can go to their parties too without having to suffer through their poor academics. Ha! But, the guys at IWU parties are far less creepy than the ones at other parties. The bars in town are fun, too!

The dorms here are pretty nice...
The dorms here are pretty nice compared to other colleges that I've visited. Even the old ones, like Gulick, are really not too bad. Also, if you have a problem with your roommate, it isn't too difficult to find a different place to stay. Off-campus housing is easy to find too, and it's usually really nice and within walking distance of campus.

You can find some real winners on...
You can find some real winners on campus because the majority of the students here are intelligent and have good manners. The girls aren't all done up and fake-looking like they are at some colleges. There's pretty much someone for everyone here.

Bloomington-Normal can be a LOT of...
Bloomington-Normal can be a LOT of fun, if you know where to look. There are lots of cute shops and cafes downtown. Peoria and Urbana are really close too, which makes for lots of fun visiting Bradley or U of I. Also, the train station in town takes you straight to Union Station, and it's not too expensive, so it's a fun weekend trip.

A new admissions building was just...
A new admissions building was just opened, and it is very nice. Shirk, Ames, and Hansen are all beautiful buildings. I know that there are a couple huge projects planned for very soon also. It's all quite exciting!

Parking here is wonderful. When I visit other campuses, I get frustrated because I'm so used to having free student parking and big, open lots.

The diversity on campus could be...
The diversity on campus could be better, but it isn't as bad as some people might want you to believe. There are many different ethnicities (though maybe not in large numbers), and the gay/lesbian community is well represented. Political and religious views on campus are also quite diverse.
