Do the dorms stay open over spring break?

Yes, dorms are open all year except during the winter intersession. I don't live in a dorm personally so I don't know all the ropes on how they work but I have a lot of friends who live in dorms and explain them to me from time to time.

hehehehehee

Whats the best overall dorm for freshman if you include social life and living conditions?

If you want the best social and the best facility, you'd have to go with Munroe-Belden or Seton. Corcoran is the best by far when it comes to social, but they don't have A/C so during the summer time it can get pretty rough.

I agree! I lived in Munroe last year and it was great! Very social! I also spent a lot of time in Seton Hall which is great fun as well!

I have about a 3.0 and a 1520 on the SAT's, can I get accepted at San Diego State University?

I don't think so. Unless if you are super good at a particular sport and you do tons of community service/leadership, you don't really have much for that school.

your in high school im not asking you

With a rude attitude like that you probably won't. Just because we're in high school doesn't mean we don't know what colleges and universities want in a person. Trust me, its a lot more than just numbers.

hehehehehehe

Your GPA is low. You need at least a 3.5 to be competitive. Sorry

Ok I think you have a good shot. Don't listen to these kids you have heart and thats all that matters

Thank you that means a lot iv been working hard for many years

I think your SAT score could maybe save your low gpa... I say maybe because I have a friend who got rejected from SDSU and her weighted gpa was 3.0, SAT 1500. So...

But you never know. If I were you, I'd apply still. Sometimes, colleges make the randomest and most surprising of acceptances. You never know... best to go for it.

well, you could apply and try to get in. but a 3.0 is honestly too low for that school. try to do lots of community service and participate in leadership programs to boost up your resume.

Yeah, you have a pretty good chance, 1520 is a pretty high score compared to others that got a 1200 on it. You're fine

I have about a 3.0 and a 1520 on the SAT's, can I get into the university of Colorado at Boulder?

Probably not... 1595 on the SAT is considered low for that school and you are well below that number unfortunately. Plus your gpa doesn't put you in a great position either.

You most likely could get into CU Boulder. Write. Really good essay and you'll be golden.

I went to accepted students day and they said that they got more applications this year than any other and that the average stats for accepted students was a 3.6, and a 27 on the ACT. Maybe if you have a lot of extra curriculars and write well, you could make it.

I have about a 3.0 and a 1580 on the SAT's, can I get into USF?

I had around the same stats, 3.0 GPA 1620 SAT and a good amount of extra curriculars and I got accepted for the spring semester so there's def a good chance :)

probably yes

I think you have a chance.

3.0 weighted for you guys?

Absolutely! Write a great personal statement explaining your lower GPA, and be sure to include how you studied for the SAT. That's a great score, and you should pump that up. Congrats!

You can apply. There's nothing wrong with applying. There are some students that have applied with GPA and scores like that and have been admitted. Take me for example. I had a 3.0 and 1640 on SAT's and was admitted to USF.

I have about a 3.0 and a 1560 on the SAT's, can I get into Depaul University?

1560 on the 2400 scale (not the 1600) I'm assuming? If yes, I'd say it would be pretty unlikely for you to get in. :( You are definitely on the low end of the spectrum for that school unfortunately. But you never know; they do admit 75% of applicants and I believe they are going test optional this year so you wouldn't even need to submit any standardized test scores at all.

Hi, My name is Kristian. I'm an admission representative for DePaul. Our average GPA is a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and a upper 500 score for each test on the SATs. With that being said, we take students both below and above those averages but we do try to create the most competitive class poassible. I encourage you to apply to the University and more importantly see what it has to offer you. Our application pool changes year to year and we're always looking for great students.

yes

You have a great possibility of getting accepted. It depends into what college program you want to get accepted to in Depaul. I suggest talking to an admissions officer. Best of luck to you yoyo95333.

I have about a 3.0 and a 1580 on the SAT's, can I get into Florida State?

It's kind of pushing it. I remember hearing that you had to have a 3.3-3.4 at the least.

You have a very good chance of getting in, yes.

yes.

Yes, you can get into Florida State. This past years incoming class was the brightest according to the SAT scores and your work falls in line with them.

I would advise you to take the SAT again if you can, and try to get a higher score. Also, try to get a higher GPA. FSU is very competitive. The middle fifty percent of students they accepted in 2011 had GPA's 3.6-4.2 and they had SAT scores of 1730-1960.

Your SAT scores are good enough, but your GPA might be a little low or average to stand out from anyone else.

yea

If you can get your SAT score about 300 points than yes!!

I do believe it is possible.

If you're an in-state resident, yes but it would be a bit harder if you are an out of state resident and it would be very difficult to get a scholarship.

They are looking for 3.7 and 1780 on sat
