The Strip
Cheap Off-campus dining options are limited to fast food. The downtown strip has a Chinese, 2 thai and 4-5 middle eastern places they aren't that cheap. There a quite a few bar and Grils that have decent food. If you have a car you can drive down to City Cafe in Northport and enjoy a full fledged southern meal, with a main, 2 sides, dessert and drink for 5 bucks. American food, bbq, southern and Italian food are pretty good but Chinese/Japanese/Indian food is quite pricey and bad.

Horrible Parking
The parking on campus is extremely bad. They are trying to rectify this by adding more parking lots. The on campus bus system is great so once you get to campus -park and then take the bus everywhere.
