Lot of Work but Still Worth It.

I'm in Providence College and I love it there. Even though I am a Music Education major, all students must take a lot of core curriculum classes, such as theology and Development of Western Civilizations. My major has about 60 hours of work a week associated with it (including the mandatory musical groups and core classes). It is one of the hardest majors on campus but, in the end, the education you get from it is worth the work.

Computers at Providence College

Better on Your Own.

Internet access can only be established by eternet chord because the wireless in each building is so week that it cuts in and out. You're better off going to a lab computer if you can't get an eternet cable. There are 3 computer labs that are huge and easily accessible which is nice. Printing is good but it is charged to an account that starts at $150 worth of printing to decrease paper waste.

Campus Strictness at Providence College

C-

Everything Is About Friendship

If you know the right people, you can get away with anything. If you and an RA are cool, they will typically allow you to do things that other RAs don't allow. Bottomline: Become friends with everyone on campus and you rule the campus. Also getting into Friar's Club (the only fraternity on campus) will give some of the same perks.
