Apartments Are Expensive!
If you've got the money, what a great place to live. All the apartments in the La Jolla area are really nice, but you definitely pay for the location. You are close to campus, many beaches, freeways, del mar horse racing track, and only 20 minutes from downtown.

Lots of Asian Students
There are a lot of asian students at UCSD! There are also a lot of whites. From what I have seen, everyone is very accepting and the community gets along great!
